Lockheed Martin, NRTC team up to offer cyber security to rural utilities

Through the partnership, Lockheed will contribute to the IT and cyber security solutions of NRTC’s 1,500 rural utilities and affiliates in 48 states.

"Lockheed Martin has a proven history of providing innovative information technology and cyber security solutions to its customers," said Dick Martin, director of sales - utility solutions at NRTC. "We're excited to be able to bring Lockheed Martin's services to our existing utility members."

Under the terms, NRTC will act as a reseller of Lockheed Martin's utility information technology and cyber security solutions.

Lockheed Martin Energy Solutions, which provides services to utility and commercial customers, as well as federal, state and local agencies, is part of the corporation's Information Systems & Global Solutions-Civil business.
