Vattenfall evaluating biomass possibility at Danish plants

Vattenfall’s combined heat and power (CHP) business in Denmark includes three large CHP plants - the Nordjylland Plant in Aalborg, the Fyn Plant in Odense and the Amager Plant in Copenhagen.

Instead of divesting these plants, Vattenfall is now accelerating the evaluation of the possibility to co-fire biomass in the Danish plants in order to reduce CO2 emissions. This is fully in line with Vattenfall's strategic direction.
